I think marriage should change to fit todays society. Marriage is a sacred bond between two people who truly love each other.Marriage is marriage no matter what.It doesn't matter if a guy is marry to a guy or a woman is marry to a woman or a guy is marry to a woman.Love is love.Love has no boundaries.Love has no gender.There is nothing wrong with gay marriage.And if you still think marriage is for a man and a woman you are wrong,you are stuck in the past,you are living the dark age.This is the new age.so get use to it.Religion shouldn't tell us who to marry.If god was real he wouldn't care about what people do in there bed room.plus jesus didn't say anything about homosexuality.It's not in the ten commandments.Marriage is a civil right or a human right and this America and america is all about justice,equality,fairness.so when you think about gays not being able to marry is un-American.Did you know that in the 1950-1960 it was a sin for a black person to marry a white person or any other person who had a different skin color.Not giving civil rights to homosexuals is un-american.Not giving equal rights to homosexuals is un-american.Homophobia is todays racism think about it.

I'm just someone who you don't hug. The last time I hugged someone was I hugged a good friend of mine (a guy) and it was just akward for me.

We have a whole "personal space" rule now. Although, me being me, I violate it at times. Said friend wasn't in school for 2 days, and I sort of got a little too close because I was overexcited that he was at school. Thankfully, he doesn't freak out easily. Otherwise it could of been really odd for me.

ah.. yeah it can be awkward. some of my friends don't let me hug them anymore since i told them i was gay.. but i have some that still let me do it :3 i live of of hugs, it gives me little bursts of energy.

Trust me, there are more akward things for me. Played a form of football during study today with my various male friends. It's sort of odd getting tackled like that (never played any form of football before in my life). I think I (trust me) was probably high off pure adrenaline. It's why I used to do sports. The adrenaline is almost addictive. I'm an adrenaline junkie (with a phobia of heights).

The Defense of Marriage act cannot be eliminated yet because it was passed. The law passed both houses of Congress by large majorities and was signed into law by President Bill Clinton on September 21, 1996. You can get more information at the en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Defense_of_Marriage_Act website.

If you want to use the Bible as a basis for your discrimination at least be consistent;. The bible also says that women who are not virgin on their wedding night should be stoned and that people are not to wear mixed fabrics. In reference to the statement that it has always been between one man and one women -- back in the day when people still pooped outside in outhouses and had teeth made out of wood -- people also stated that interracial marriages should not be allowed. In reference to -- if its not broken don't fix it---- I am sure if you were gay you would feel otherwise.

I wish NC could see it.... also, there is such a thing called separation of church and state why do you think they can't teach the bible in public schools? (thank the gods for that )... hence that the church cannot legally dictate laws.
