Should I replace my car battery before it dies?

If the battery in your car is three years old would you buy a new one before it dies so you can avoid being stuck on the side of a dark road, or do you wait till it dies..

I would buy a spare battery just in case the one I have fails. You should not replace with the one in use unless it has signs of losing its power. Consider waiting to make sure the new one also lasts longer.

I would buy a set of jumper cables instead. Some batteries will last a lot longer than three years. Batteries are more likely to die in the cold weather...

Get the battery checked out at a garage, they should be able to tell you how much juice us left in it. The battery may not be your problem, then the stranded on the road thing still is.

Yes you should or else it might stop when you can't afford to have it stop on you
