I keep getting cramp in my hand, legs and feet, what can i do about them. What causes cramps and are there any remedies. .

Are there any remedies for body cramp such as feet, hands and legs.

When most people, not all, have muscle cramping, it can be happening due to a lack of nutrients in your body such as potassium. Potassium can be found in bananas & kiwi fruit. If you want a great tasting smoothie drink that can help alleviate the symptoms, take 1/2 of a banana, 1 kiwi fruit and 3-4 medium strawberries. Remove the skin from the Banana and kiwi fruit and cut the stems from the strawberries and put them in a blender with some 1/2 cup of ice and a cup of milk or non dairy soy milk. Blend until smooth. No sugar needed. Drink and enjoy and if this does not help, contact your physician and see if there is something else going on that is neurological happening with your body.

I am not a nutritionist or doctor. I am a sufferer of muscular spasms because of potassium deficiencies. I drink these smoothies all of the time and they are nutritious and delicious.

In most cases, muscle cramps are made by numerous medicines in the blood system, less potent diuretics, depletion of body fluid and sodium, loss of sensation, dehydration, poor conditioning and muscle fatigue. To counter this, stretch and massage the cramping muscle, stop the activity that causes the cramp and hold the joint in a stretched position until the cramp stops.

You could be low on potassium as well, try eating a banana.

Hydrating with water and sodium (with a bit of magnesium and calcium) will stop it.

Your average "poweraide" or "gatoraide" products will be sufficient.

Much better would be to intake more water, and receive your sodium and electrolytes from your diet.

Stay hydrated and eat fruit also stretch n massage cramped areas
