If you are unable to use the keyboard when on the Windows 7 logon screen it is likely that something has gone wrong with your computer's configuration. To solve this issue, restart your computer and hold down the F8 key to get into Safe Mode. Once in Safe Mode, choose the "Boot With Last Known Good Configuration" option and once the computer boots again the issue should be resolved.

If it doesn't make you type in a password, but you are still able to go to your desktop screen(main screen), then here's what you can do:
-Go to the Start menu(windows symbol)
-Click on the box in the top, right-hand corner(With your pic or Toshiba in it)
-Click on "Create a password for your account"

I hope this helped. Another interesting thing to do on here would be that you can also choose a picture for your account as well.

When your laptop does not type and makes bird chirping sounds: turn off the computer; take out the battery; hold down the power button for 30 seconds; replace the battery; it should work now.
