After frozen ground beef has thawed in the refrigerator, what is the maximum time it can be kept before consumption?
Because of Salmonella, never take chances on meat. Cook it right away within at least 3 days. You'll see blood loss & a loss of flavor. Better to just cook it & freeze the cooked meat if you don't feel like eating it right away.
I would recommend to cook it on the same day its thawed. Better yet, as Alrightythen said, is to buy it, cook it straight away and then freeze the products.
