You microwave corn on the cob by getting a fresh one and trimming the ends to make sure the corn ears will fit in the microwave. Microwave the corn for two minutes and allow it to sit wrapped up for a minute or so to distribute its heat and continue to cook. You can also microwave it with the husks removed. Just wrap the ears in wet paper towels. Corn is one food that is so much easier to prep in a microwave. Just be careful to watch it as it cooks. Overcooking corn (or any food with a high water content) can lead to fire or explosion.

I did. Still don't see why anyone would want to use a microwave to cook. There are many better ways to preparing corn.

peel back the husk to expose 2 inches wide, spread butter, salt and pepper pull the husk up a cook til tender,
