why dosent ibooks download to my 4th generation ipod touch?

Need a little more info, did you type in the wrong password, no wi fi, not enough space (how much more you can fit on your ipod) - go to settings then general then about and look at available, if its very small try deleting photos and videos they help, or delete apps you havent played with for over 2 months
