Why do my gebils bite eachother? It looks like they're cleaning eachother but they screech and scream when they do it

Your gerbils may be biting each other when they are playing. In some cases, these animals bite each others mouths to get fluid. The biting is also a form of greeting and a request for a bath.

Their not playing. And I tried bathing them . (in chinchilla dust- it's made for cleaning rodents) Im not concerned about it, just curious

Maybe there playing around that or they might be trying to make babies ethier one
