I had sex 2 days before ovulating. Can I be pregnant?

If you had sex 2 days before ovulating, it is possible that you can be pregnant. This is because a sperm takes three days before dying. You can see a doctor about this and listen to his or her advice.

2 days before? 4 days after? 13 days after you ate a sandwich & watched a movie?..... It really doesn't matter, unprotected sex will get you pregnant anytime of the month. It's more likely around the time you obvulate but honestly, anytime will do. If you are trying to get pregnant, good luck & I hope you are, if you're not trying, I hope it doesn't happen to you :)

Lol...that was funny. I am trying too get pregnant and ovulation for me was the 17th so I had sex the 14th and 15th of this month...So all I can do now is wait:)

I guess so, it's the waiting that so hard! Then there's the few times you're disappointed for a couple months while you're waiting, then you do get a positive result & freak out for the next 12wks,then you eat everything in sight, cry cos you've doubled in size & a few weeks after that you live in terrifying fear of labour!! It's exhausting just thinking about it. I'm jk jk. It really is a fabulous time of your life, enjoy it, cherish it & it's really really all worth it in the end :) good luck to you & your hubby, I hope it happens for you guys soon.

You're welcome. The thing to remember is everyone & all babies are different. With my 1st we were trying for 6mnths, my 2nd was in between 3-4mnths & my 3rd was in the 1st week of the 1st month (I know because it only happened once) so, yeah, don't rush, bubbys come when they're ready :)

It's a possibility, but you should get a prego test or go and get checked if your period is late.

Here's an idea. Use protection every time. Unless you are trying to get pregnant.
On another note, sperm can be active for days after sex.
