do they believe in homosexuality ? and please tell me everything u knw about this

I am a Jehovahs Witness, so I can tell you. Lol well unlike many people believe, we arent a cult and we are definitely not brainwashed lol. We believe Jehovah God is the creator and Jesus Christ is his son, and our savior, and the model we must follow. We also believe that God will soon end all the suffering this world and its people are going through, as it is promised in the bible. We dont believe in Hell, nor that everyone goes to heaven. We base all our knowledge directly from the bible, and we publish it in our liturature, for example the Watchtower, were we cite all our sources and explain them in a way that is easily understood. Well in regards to homosexuality, we do believe practicing homosexual acts are wrong. We follow exactly what the bible says, without loopholes, and te bible condemns the practice of homosexuality. But that doesnt meab that just because someone is homosexual they cannot be a witness, but that person must refrain from acting on any homosexual tendencies. You may have also heard that we dont accept blood transfusions.. And yes we do not use blood. But we do all in our power to survive without the use of blood. We are NOT pro death lol.. trust me. But since the use of blood once it leaves the body goes against biblical principles, yes we refuse to use it. But there are many more alternatives that prove less risky and are very successful. If you have any morr questions I'd be more than happy to answer them. BTW i wouldnt necessarily trust the website the person above me posted as a source for info about us, as it is not our official website, and it may not be accurate.

Yes now I see it but I'm religion searching and I just want to find a religion that makes me happy n willing to accept all me

Ok thats fine, i understand that. I mean If you are looking for God, thats who he is. So if you find a religion that goes against what he has said, you arent truly finding him. But i understand :).
Report as
@ makalaj10 Man, in his creativity, has invented innumerable religions in his attempt to reach God. God, in His love, has given us the truth: the one religion, Christianity, in which God attempts to reach man.

@Oddplantano if you guys based everything off the Bible then you would believe that hell is real, and that anybody who accepts Jesus as their savior goes there. Not just certain people. Heaven can be for anybody. They just have to accept or in better words surrender their lives to Jesus.

The bible doesnt support the belief in hell. And Jesus doesnt accept everyone. If you firmly believed in Jesus, but you were a murderer, would he accept you.

*would he accept you?

The Bible talks about hell. Matthew 25:46 ESV / 12 helpful votes

And these will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.”
He would accept you if you were a murderer. Only if you accept Him into your heart and believe that He died on the cross for you
Report as
Oddplatano
That text by saying eternal punishment, is referring to eternal destruction.. As in utter destryction forever. Jehovah God a God of love would never sentence people to an eternity of suffering. That simply doesnt match his personality. The bible even says that we do not experience anything after death. That we are just dead. Eccl. 9:5,10: "For the living are conscious that they will die; but as for the dead, they are conscious of nothing at all, neither do they anymore have wages, because the remembrance of them has been forgotten...All that your hand finds to do, do with your very power, for there is no work nor devising nor knowledge nor wisdom in Sheol, the place to which you are going."
Psalms 146:4: "His spirit goes out, he goes back to his ground;
In that day his thoughts do perish."
And no, if you are a murderer, as in constantly murduring, it doesnt matter how much you believe in Jesus, he will not accept you. The fct that you are murdering proves you dont believe in Jesus. For one to be a true believer, one must obey as a result of said belief. Its the actions that matter.
Report as
okay well if god accept murders then y he dont accept homosexuals thats kinda backwards i mean we not taking no one life and to the the truth i believe in both of the things yall are saying ,and what what bible do yall have @oddplatano

No matter what sin you commit it can be washed away by the blood of Jesus. God is very loving. But anyone in the end who does not believe that Jesus His son died for our sings will not get to go to heaven. They will be sentenced to hell. Yes the sins can be washed away if you are truly repentant, but you are not repentant if you continue doing the wrong thing. Lol and secretariate, did you just ignore the two texts i just posted that completelt contradict what you just repeated? And maka, we use and accept all bibles because they all basically have the same message. but the ones we use to teach is the NWT, or New World Testament, which is a version translated by us, but we use it because it is easy to understand and teach from, which is our primary objective.

im not going to ask god to forgive me for sinning if im going to continue to do it its like im lien to him , im not going to pretend and say im not going to having intercource or think of women in sexual ways in front of people or church i dont believe i should lie about myself to anybody nor god kuz he really knw who i am and plus i read something in the bible that says god created homosexuals but it wasnt one of his great creations so he gave them up to a high god or however you say it i cant remember wherei found that at in my bible but i knw its king james version

Well again maka, no one is forcing you. Not even Jehovah God, he created us all with free will for a reason. But we will all have to pay our debts to him for whatever decisions we have made in the end. Also, there is no text in the bible that says what you just stated.. Not to be mean, but it doesnt exist.

I am also a Jehovah's Witness. And actually, I signed onto Ask by accident. I have used Ask Jeeves since the 1990's, but never joined a forum. After I mistakenly signed on, I decided to give it a try. Then got carried away with the fun of it; then settled down and considered some serious questions. Isaiah Chapter 2 is what first introduced me- not the name "Jehovah"- but to the Grand Person behind the name; and His marvelous purposes; when a kindly man who'd been sharing the Good News with individuals like myself- since the 1930's- knocked on my door. He asked me to read: "And it must occur in the final part of the days that the mountain of the house of Jehovah will become firmly established above the top of the mountains, and it will certainly be lifted up above the hills; and to it all the nations must stream. And many peoples will come and say: "Come, you people, and let us go up to the mountain of Jehovah, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will instruct us about his ways, and we will walk in his paths. For out of Zion law will go forth, and the word of Jehovah out of Jerusalem." And began to learn about Jehovah; and love Him for His qualities; which had been hidden to me because of slanders and scoffing; and misleading dogma and unjust concepts. And Jehovah's purposes became clear, not hazy and confused. And learned about Jesus in greater detail and accuracy than I could gain at any church, college or television show. And learned to approach Jehovah as a heavenly Father, not on my own, but through Jehovah's arrangement; through Christ Jesus; a mediator.
(1 Tim.2:5) And no longer worshiping the Mediator, but instead our Father, Jehovah; honoring Christ's instruction and appeal to do so; qualities of peace, justice, reasonableness, moderation; all became available for me to seek. Open to a Christian who now followed Christ in worshiping and serving Jehovah; closed to that Christian who ignored our Father Jehovah; worshiped Christ as God; followed after the emotional fervor of tnations

the nations. Who joined in the bickering and meddling of politics and personal strife. Although SERIOUSLY!- I am no example to anyone of anything good or important! Jehovah is good! Jesus is His loyal moderator! His first, dearest Son! Jehovah's Witnesses worship our Heavenly Father Jehovah, through Christ Jesus and Jehovah's arrangement by means of Christ's Ransom Sacrifice on our behalf. And are non-political, dedicated to publishing the Good News of the Kingdom; removed from the lure of greed and grand-standing. They promote the pursuit of 'pure worship' , and- since no man is truly humble, nor should he view himself as such- Jehovah;s Witnesses encourage the seeking of discreet humility. Putting Jehovah, His Christ and others ahead of self.

Thumbs up Oddplatano and Jtnext! Don't know how long I will be able to hang around, but its been fun. A few people seem to hate God- and really passionately insult Him; yet they say they don'e believe in Him. Why blame somebody you don't believe exists? Makes no sense! They may not be so bad, they have seen the cruel teachings of misguided teachers. They see the bad. They just cant seem to connect with Jehovah's own displeasure of these evils.

Jehovah's witnesses accept people from all different walks of life. Our main goal is to show people all around the world what the truth of the bible is. We would never try and force anyone to change. It, of corse is up to the person. We were all made with free will. The angels were also made with free will as well. In order to truly love God we would need to examine ourselves and see what changes we need to make in order to please God. Jehovah knows that we are all imperfect people and that we were all born with sin. We all inherited sin and death from adam and Eve. They passed on sin to all of mankind. They chose to disobey God and eat the fruit in the garden of eden. God created them free from sin and death, in other words they were made perfect and made to live forever on the earth.Their job was to fill the earth and subdue it. The issue of Gods right to rule over mankind was raised by Satan the devil. That is why so many people all around the world have and are suffering all around the world, and soon Jehovah's son Jesus will set up a kingdom that will never be brought to ruin. Daniel 2:44. Rev 21:4.And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore the former things will pass away. We also believe that all those who have fallen asleep in death will rise, and they will be taught if the word of God and chose for themselves if they want to live forever or die, which means the second death. And if they die the second death their is no coming back. We also believe that Jesus is our perfect king and that soon he will rule over all of mankind.

Actually makalaj, there are only a few serious matters that might place a baptized witness in a position where they might need to adjust their course and turn away from a bad activity, or be expected to withdraw from association with Jehovah's Witnesses until they follow the follow the steps to correct their course. And even these places are not unreasonable. Jehovah's Witnesses are not just 'churchgoers', they actively- in an organized manner- represent the name of Jehovah by teaching, clearing up misunderstandings about the Bible, addressing slanders against Jehovah and preaching the good news of Christ's Kingdom; which you're already doing when you share the Good News with other people, and participate in mutual encouragement with Bible literature. Reasonable people expect no less from any collective group who serves in an organized capacity. In Jesus' time, the Pharisees did not follow this principle: but set up a myriad of rules and regulations that they themselves would not even take the trouble to follow. Jehovah's Witness are not like that. But they are only imperfect people, like the rest of the Human Family. Jehovah enjoys a happy people. Remember Him, and some day you will receive your opportunity to serve Him.
