Did Barack Obama really make freedom of speech a felony now?

Report as

President Barack Obama did not make the freedom of speech a felony in any way as a sitting president cannot alter the constitution of the United States. The freedom of speech is the political right to freely communicate one's opinions and ideas through speech.

Yes and no. Correct definition of the First Amendment, but... by creating "free speech zones" he's effectively saying everything else (the parts he does not designate) are NOT a free speech zone(s).

It was George W Bush who had the "free speech zones" to stifle dissent. Barack Obama is an American who put a stop to that treasonous practice.

Yet another lie from the Republican lie machine. In fact, however, President Bush had a practice of creating "free speech zones" whenever he traveled to make a speech. Anyone who had a sign that disagreed with him was arrested and forceably removed to an area, usually a few miles away, where they were penned up so he would not see any dissidents. They were released as soon as Bush had left the area. This was done by local police at the direction of the Secret Service, so if you wanted to sue, you would sue your own local government and if it lost, it would pay in local tax dollars. Bush was one of the most unAmerican Presidents ever.

H.R. 347

First, House Resolution 347 is a resolution of the House of Representatives, a Republican controlled legislative body. Contrary to many tea-party enthusiasts (who seem to have no idea what the Constitution says), the President does not make laws, Congress does. Second, HR 347 is a bill that makes it illegal to occupy or cause a public disturbance on certain Federal Property, including the White House. It has nothing to do with restricting "free speech." Third, a violation is not a felony. So, this answer could not be more wrong.
