How many keys are on a piano? And if an electric keyboard piano has less, can the same songs be played?

im thinking of buying a keyboard, but most of the ones i see have 61 keys.. is that good?

The standard keyboard has 88 keys, and most songs only use 1 or 2 octaves so you should be fine. If your buying your first keyboard I suggest yamaha, though if your buying it for a band get a moog or a korg.

I don't know the answer to the first question but YES to the second question because you just have to press the same keys.
