Money also = Less Stress. It just does. If you can pay your bills and have money leftover, life is better. I'm just saying.

A little stresss is okay, stress makes you stronger.
But I do agree with you, money= less stress
Well, temporary less stress.
Lots of money can make you greedy or careless, which could cause you to waste it and got into a state of stress.

Money can never be rated to be on the same level with happiness. Though most joyful moments are experienced when one has enough money, it is possible for you to have the money but be unhappy.

If you aren't happy with yourself without, money will just make it worse.

sometimes it can help you be happy. For example, a homeless person could somehow win $1,000,000 and they would be able to get back up and get their life right

Actually I'm not sure that just anyone winning a million dollars would know what to do with it. Most people winning the lottery end up miserable. But I have money now, and I'm much happier than I used to be when I stressed over the lack of money.
Report as
yeah, that is true, most do end up miserable. But, I think they would know what to do with some how of it, like get some food and try to find an apt. to rent or a hotel/motel room

But there was a show on tv where they gave homeless people $100,000 and the money was squandered.
Report as
wow. I never heard of something like that
Report as
most people start makin more money then they start spending more. that's why docs/lawyers have BMW and bills to golf clubs and the guy works at walmart doesn't.
Report as
I know a person who won the lottery, spent it all and are now back to the way they started?
Report as
NLove, yeah that happens a lot. people think that they are so rich, get a bunch of new things, and are back to what they started with

I don't think it makes you happy. But I have had it both ways -- without money back when I was a single mother and now, WITH money, now that I am remarried to a physician. I will just tell you this -- No, I am not happier, per se, but my stress over monetary issues has disappeared completely, and for that reason, I do feel happier. I guess I'm saying, less stress = happiness. And more money can often = less stress = happiness.

You need to find your happiness. If you don't have to worry about bills, what are you worrying about? I'm not being snippy. I really want to know, sincerely.
Report as
I think you misunderstood me. I said yes, I am happier now that I don't have to stress over money. I HAVE found my happiness. Re-read my answer? I'm not being snippy either, but you misread. I WAS happy back in the old days, but stress over money still took a great toll on me as a single mom. Now that I don't have to stress over money, I feel better & thus happier. When I said "I'm not happier, per se"I meant that money wasn't the ONLY thing making me happy, but it sure does help!!!!!
Report as
I never said I was still worrying about anything at all. My point was, now I'm NOT worrying, therefore I feel better. Get it?

I don't think money makes you happier but it does relieve some stress at times. There are other factors in your life that determine if you are happy but it can't come from money.

IT IS great. That's what I was saying. Less stress = happier life. It just really does. I've had it both ways ... more money makes things SO much easier. As a result, I try to give back ... I help people out now that I can.

Money doesn't equal happiness, nothing tangible really. Your internal has to be right that equals happiness, then once internal is straight, then the external is just added benefit.

No, money is not equal to happiness, but if you don't have it, it can bring unhappiness.

more money almost always = more bills. I've known families that had rich elderly person die and then everyone fights bout who gets what. I also know of poorer families that pull together to have nice funeral/service for their beloved fam. when my older family members die they r leavin bills not wills. and I'm ok with that

Believe me .. YES .. some people collect money to control or destroy the others , and some of them don't know why they are doing that , and some of them collect it for good reasons like helping the poor ones or orphans .. etc
so whatever your reason is ... you've got to collect alot of money to get sure u can realise your dreams (but earn it in a fair way not by stealing !)

No, money doesn't make you happy. You can use money to buy things that might make you or someone else happy (a wedding ring for example, to propose) or you could donate it to charity to help a family in need. But just being a miser and getting a lot of money just to have a lot of money will not make you happy.

Definitely not. You should be able to be happy w/o money. Think of all those celebrities out there who have terrible lives, but tons of money. And think also that no matter how much money you have, you can't buy somebody's love, and in the end no matter how much money you have you'll end up dying one way or another. Bottom line is: having lots of money doesn't mean having the perfect life and perfect happiness
