You should ask them politely to stay out. I believe your roommates are still your friends and you'd not want to break your friendship. Before you tell them to stay out, at least let them know why you want them out. This way, you will express your traits as a mature person and I believe they will obey you. If this was me, I'd avoid any conflicts with them, because I might need them in future. All the best.
