What are some home remedies for canker sores?

I have one on the inside of my lip and it hurts soooo bad. how long will it be there and how can I get rid of it?

Some remedies that you could use on canker sores are a wet black teabag, this reduces their size. You could also use a solution of salt and water to clean the sore. Applying a piece of raw onion or a paste of honey would also help. The sore should get better after a few days.

Warm salt water, but be sure not to swallow it.
