Why did they fire Kirby O'connell from Eye Opener morning news?

KIAH-TV never gave the reasons behind its decision to fire Kirby O'Connell. Kirby was born and raised just outside Chicago. She attended Larkin High School's Visual and Performing Arts Academy, after which she went to Indiana University.

I just always thought she was the fun glue that put that show together. She was not too good to rub elbows with ordinary folks. She would be a complete total hoot to just eat chili dogs with her at a no name place. Fun just happens with her.
