Well that all depends on what you mean by requires for you! Some people look up to him cause their religious but some people may just believe in him without being religious about it! I mean I try and pray every night before going to bed but if I'm too tired to pray I know that he knows that I'll pray the next night!
Well Strawberrygirl... I'm not God but I'm guessing respect? Imagine god as your Mother or Father, ((even though technically if you believe in god, he is your father...))They made you but they don't require you to be anything but Im sure they would want respect. Just a thought. ~KaT~
nothing ,Jesus paid it all . just accept the fact that your a sinner as I did ,ask Jesus to forgive you , believe God raised him from the dead . believe he came to save you . and accept Jesus as the only way to please God , that is the only thing God will accept from anyone ,That why Jesus had to die .because God required a sacrifice , one with out sin, and only Jesus was born without sin .
Good question. I believe we have to find our purpose to know his requirements of us.Ofcourse He wants us to love all and obey his word but he gave us free will to make that choice of our own. So I would say he require us to find out our purpose he has for us an individual and follow
That depends on who you are. If you're Jewish, God expects you to obey His 613 Commandments as are taught by the rabbis. Your being in good standing with God depends then on how you do vis a vis these 613 Commandments. If you're not Jewish, and it doesn't matter what as long as you're not Jewish, God expects very little of you: only to keep the Noahide law, and most people do. You keep the Noahide law - you're in good standing with God. Going to church or reading the Bible makes no difference, as God doesn't care about these. He does only if you're Jewish.
God requires each one us to Surrender,Sacrifice, and Summit to His will and ways, meaning in all your ways acknowledge Him,and to deny yourself and pickup His cross and follow Him. He has left His word to follow .The Bible ! which means. B - Basic I - Instruction B -Before L - Leaving E - Earth
The very meaning of life is to love, serve, and know God forever. We must come close to Him by praying, attending Mass (where we MEET with God), taking the sacraments, and being a friend of Jesus, who is God. As children of God, we must act like His children by giving Him our time and devotion. For more information, ask a priest or meet with a spiritual director.
God requires us to love all living beings. To be kind and compassionate to all. To believe in God. To devote our life to God. To carry out God's work and help everyone go back to Heaven, the place where we came from. To help the needy and those who are suffering. To bring joy and hope to everyone. To make earth a heavenly place to live in.
