What is the best fluid to drink after a 30 minute run?

Water is definitely one of the best things to put into your system, but I also heard from my brother that Gatorade, (the third part of the series, or the recover one) makes you feel a lot less exhausted and out of breath after any cardio workout or sprint. It restores electrolytes and salts lost during exercise. Water and Gatorade I guess are both good for you and tasty.

In my opinion, the best fluid to drink after a 30 minute run is water. Water is essential in your body since it will keep you hydrated, helps keep you alert and prevents the dull headachy feeling that may slow you down in the middle of the day.

1) water: it replaces water that was lost during exercising since your body is made up of
93 or 97% water (I'm not sure which)
2) G2 thirst quenchers: it replenishes vital nutrients and energy and helps to rehydrate you
plus it tastes good

Gatoraide is water with electrolites which your body spends if the run was truely a good workout. Water is always a good answer, but don't forget the electrolites:)

Vita Coco-100% pure coconut water. Approx. 8 oz glass. Contain 15x more potassium than sports drinks without all of the sugar. Follow with water, if desired.

Power aid, it provides calcium, magnesium, potassium and phosphorus as well as glucose. It is also cheaper than Gator Aid

electrolyte fluids are available which helps to replenish the lost salt through sweat....

Water and tons of it. your body is 65% water, so you need to chug at least 2 bottles of water after running.

2 much water can send u in a coma and ur going 2 hav 2 drink a lot from running 30 min. thats lik 4miles Gatorade cant send u in a coma and has electrolytes that help ur heart

I think it's milk if you have lack of vitamin D cause it is quickly absorbed and the you can drink water after a little rest.
