theres nothing wrong with being gay. its just who you are. i hate people who judge others like this. i have 9 gay friends. girl and boy alike. there just the same as me you and everyone else in this world. so my answer is yes, it is. man you guys are really messed up.

I think a lot of people would find it hard to hate someone who is gay, once they became friends with a gay person (i have several gay friends as well)

A lot of people who judge people for being gay or just hate them, have not gotten to know someone who is gay, personally. People don't realize that they are the same as us (as you mentioned above)

Not according to some people, but to me, being gay is just as normal (and should be as accepted) as being straight.
But, it doesn't even matter what I think, if someone is gay, they should not seek approval from anyone, except themselves :)

Christians were and are taught to love and not to hate. but unfortunatly many seem to forget that and begin to judge others. Its unfortunate that many of my fellow christians are hippocrites who think everyone else is beneath them. Pride, wrath, and hate are the worst of all sins after all.

No. Deuteronomy was specifically rules for the Jews. Some we can apply to our lives, but some, like what you just said, obviously wouldn't work today. And Proverbs, same thing. It was advice for people at that time, but most of it we can use and apply effectively to our lives.

Also it must be noted that the bible is very, very old, and has been manipulated greatly for the churches benefit. basically, anything the church frown upon became a sin. it may not be now, but the church used to be one of the most power-hungry institutions in existance, and needed lots of money and obediance.

all this may be true, but The bible is made up ONLY of what the church approved/edited and many of these where personal accounts or letters not really written to be in a book in the first place. and anything that didn't make the cut (sit right with the church) was burn, destroyed, eliminated. And besides, I only take my morales from the bible, not much else, can't say I take everything in the bible literally, nor do I put 100% faith in a book centuries older than my families bloodlines can even be traced.

Whether or not it's okay, you are what you are. If your gay your gay, if your not your not and if you bi your bi. I'm not personally gay, but I don't believe in judging or looking down on others because they're different.

Even if it is a sin (I've yet to find that scripture) all that's needed is to acknowledge Christ and ask forgiveness for our sins. We are not meant to be without sin, Jesus died so that we could be cleansed of our sins, do you mean to tell me you don't trust and acknowledge Christ, some Christian you are.

I'm just quoting what the bible tells us---i said it was a sin--who am I to be judgemental against ppl who are what they are as individuals---just follow your heart&be yourself. I guess I should have elaborated more in detail with my last reply. As long as you don't make it a point to try and convert others to your lifestyle. My former friend of 22yrs was gay...he told my son that Christ was gay& that being gay was kool--he also wanted to take him to a gay bar. My son was 15 at the time&called me to pick him up. I was pissed for awhile, but I forgive him--i just choose not to socialize with him anymore. I don't agree with gay but I don't hate you for it either. Good day to you.

being gay is being gay but when it comes to telling someone you need to comfort them with a serious answer and explain to them what you think what i get hear is a little bit of both when i mean by that is when people say not is not ok to be gay i think it is ok to be gay or even bisexual and if people arent then who cares like what people said be yourself you are yourslef not others you can suggest them but realise this bible was written how many years ago like plz we need to get over this god yes i believe in him but you cant always believe everything . in theses days today you find over 500,000 gays bisexual and others and if people have problems they should not disrespect them and tell them its not right to be gay of course it is i approve people that are gay they are like the bestess friends in the world but anways confort people instead of giving the not cool answers thxx
