How do you tell if your betta fish is Male or female?

You can tell the gender of your Betta fish by looking on their underside. Female Betta have a small white spot on their underside that sometimes protrudes slightly. Male Betta have long fins, whereas female ones have short fins. Females are also a bit shorter than the males, who have wider bodies.
