I got a futon at Wal-mart for 70-80$ last year. You should check them out when all of their college dorm stuff goes on sale (around the fall).

For a cheap futon you may check at several stores such as IKEA or thrift store. When purchasing futon be care full on the quality of futon. Their prices keep changing when they are clearing older stocks or when they have seasonal sales.
