I produced a radio documentary in 1976 called "UFO's: Fantasy or Fact?" used on 3 radio stations. Based on a conference at UCSB on the same subject, experts from all over the world, including Dr. J. Allen Hynek, astronomer, considered the world's leading expert(at that time),answered. I broadcast the press conference.Dr. Hynek was also the adviser for "Close Encounters of the 3rd Kind" film. In a nutshell, "YES!" See the statistics on the vast amount of stars, planets ETC in space; he said it's highly unlikely that we ARE alone. Even President Jimmy Carter, at that time, reported seeing a ufo. We ended the conference with "maybe one will land in a peanut field." It's egotistical to think that we humans, mankind, are the only ones "out there." There are countless books of true close encounters & government cover-ups. Do the research! Read/watch Carl Sagan, Brian Cox, & others. You are probably worried about NEGATIVE aliens--my research has revealed there are both kinds, good AND evil. There are those who claim to be in touch with "space brothers" such as Uri Geller, Barbara Marciniak,Marianne Francis, & Bashar. They all have books and websites, highly recommended! --Trina Simon
The answer is yes and no people believe that aliens have visited ancient people know as the Maya and the Egyptians but they are not so sure because it was so long ago and they can't ask anybody if aliens had visited those places cause they're all dead now! :D Hope this helped a lil bit!!! :)
With the vastness of our universe with trillions of possible m class planets capable of supporting life it would be selfish to think where the only ones but are they abducting earthlings uh don't be a hillbilly no there not watching us
Universe is huge ,if you think we are the only ones you must be kidding ,the thing is ; space is tremendously ,unbelievably, so freaking huge .Imagine our sun is just one star ,there are more stars in space ; than there are grains of sand in the Earth .So of course there are other living creatures out there, but we will probably never meet them ; at least not in our life time or in the next thousand years ,since the distances are so far its just impossible to travel, just our Milky Way galaxy ; wich we live in, is about 100 light years across ,light travels 386,000 miles per second ,so we will never reach another planet with life ; with what we have ; because we don't have gas stations in space,or the capability to travel at or beyond the speed of light ,wich would be necessary .But of course, you have to believe that there is other kind of life ; but they are definitely not like us.
I do believe there is life out there. I believe they are simply other human races, not things you see in movies such as Independence Day or Men in Black. I used to watch Stargate SG-1 and many of their aliens were just normal-looking people. I believe its like that. My fave episode was "Bad Guys" and all the beings there were just regular-looking people. I believe that is what we would find if we could travel to faraway planets. I dont think any of these aliens would be trying to take over earth either.
The Church does not officially teach anything on the matter. There is no biblical evidence for or against life on other planets. However, if there is life "out there," our God is the God of whatever life exists, for there is only one God. Because God has given us no revelation on this matter in the Bible or Sacred Tradition, many speculative questions can be raised regarding life on other planets. Here are a few: 1. What type of beings are they? Nearly all scientists who believe that intelligent life exists say that this life is almost certainly not humanoid - that is, it would be radically different from human beings and, indeed, earthly life in general. These scientists, then, would say that modern science fiction's portrayal of "human-looking" aliens is certainly inaccurate. In their view, no creatures like "ET" are out there.
