...in 1928 they were a Couple of Bucks...My Grandad used to Sell them door to door in Bisbee,Arizona, when he was just Starting out in Life. So, they were Probably about 4-5 Dollars in 1940...for a Good Pair.Westie.

...Grandaddy Was Telling me the Story of his Life, when I was a teenager-He eventually Rose the the Vice-President of the "Fluid-Packed Pump Company" years late.Now known as Sunoco or something like that.He was telling me that Times were So bad that he wouldn't go Home to his Family-Until he sold a pair of Shoes...walking door to door.
