What can I do to substitute a heater and filter for a beta fish.

So i have to get a new tank for him so for now he is stuck in a small one I have around it is 3 gallons please don't say anything about that I am sorry that he has to be in there but it is just for a while. But what can I do to substitute a heater and a filter because these are two things this tank is lacking.

I don't think it is possible to make a substitute for heater and filter for the beta fish. This is due to the fact that the beta fish needs this and you need to come up with a way to get them.

Not true! Betta fish don't need air bubbles in the water or heat! A pet store will tell you that. That's why people get Betta fish. They are easy to care for.

Beta does not need bubbles or heat. Room temperature is fine. Call a pet store. They guy above me has no clue what he is talking about!
