how were humans created

i know god created us but how were we formed?

Report as

God made us from the "dust of the earth." He breathed the breath of life into Adam's nostrils, bringing him to life. Afterwards, he created Eve from a rib taken from Adam himself. Therefore, Eve is "one" with Adam. So, God created the first original human from the dust and soil of the earth. Being the first couple, Adam and Eve had children, and their children had children, and so on. They gave rise to the entire human race, so we could assume we are all just one, huge extended family.

Hope this helps! - ManOfKnowledge

He didn't ask a fairy tale from dust really don't you realize dust is dead and decaying cells in other words dust came from life not life from dust
Report as
And by your logic we are all inbred and I take offence to that if we all come from Adam and eve explain the diff ethinticities
Report as
We are all one huge extended family from Adam and Eve. As descendants of our first parents, all human beings are related to one another. The Catechism tells us we are all of a "common origin... All nations form but one community. This is so because all stem from the one stock which God created to people the entire earth" (CCC 842). In recent years, science seems to have confirmed our common human ancestry. There have even been a number of genetic studies conducted that strongly suggest all humans are descended from a single set of parents. One of them, conducted by evolutionary biologists from Yale, Harvard, and the University of Chicago during the early 1990s, looked for genetic differences in the "Y" chromosome of 38 men of different ethnic backgrounds who were living in different parts of the world. Within their research, they discovered particular characteristics common to all the men's "Y" chromosomes. Based on their analysis, they concluded that all 38 men had descended from the same original father. This same conclusion was drawn by an American researcher in molecular evolution, Michael Hammer, in a similar research study conducted at about the same time. In addition, a British team of geneticists, while examining a much larger segment of the human "Y" chromosome, also concluded that modern humans all descended from a common male ancestor.

In 1987, BEFORE the studies described above were conducted, a completely independent study by a team of molecular biologists at the University of California at Berkeley concluded that, based on the genetic evidence, all humans share a common FEMALE ancestor. The researchers appropriately named her "Eve."
How must I explain why there are so many different races and ethnic groups? As I mentioned previously, recent scientific evidence seems to indicate that the entire human race is descended from one man and one woman. This being so, there is a perfectly natural explanation for how different races could all have come from a single set of parents. For example, think about your own family. Do all your brothers and sisters look exactly like your parents? Some of them probably resemble one of your parents more than the other. If you consider your extended family, e.g., grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews, nieces, etc., you will probably notice even more differences than similarities. Maybe someone in your family doesn't resemble anybody! The point here is that even within one or two generations of the same family, you will find a wide diversity of traits: different sizes and shapes, eye and hair color, facial features, skin pigment, etc.
Report as
Adam and Eve held within them the genetic material that eventually gave rise to all the various races, just as parents today have the genetic material which results in the physical differences among their children. "The whole human race is in Adam 'as one body of one man'" (CCC 404). There is enough scientific evidence to suggest that man, after having made his entrance into the world, spread out throughout the earth from a single geographical starting point. The Bible certainly speaks of Noah and his three sons, Shem, Ham, and Japheth, along with their wives; and "From these the nations spread out over the earth after the flood" (Gn 10:32). As particular groups moved to specific regions of the world, they became acclimated to that region, settling there and populating it. Obviously, over the course of countless generations, the people of these regions would come to resemble one another in a distinctive way. Not only that, they would come to develop a common language, culture, and overall way of life. This explains the beautiful and rich diversity of the nations and people of the world.
Report as
Finally, we need to remember that although we represent various races, colors, and ethnicities, we are all one people. The Catechism reminds us that "Because of its common origin, the human race forms a unity, for 'from one ancestor [God] made all nations to inhabit the whole earth'" (Acts 17:26; Tb 8:6; CCC 360). This unity finds its fulfillment in Jesus, the "light of the nations" and hope of salvation for all mankind (see Jn 1:4).

Adam and eve were single cell organism is what your trying to say
Report as
According to evolutionism, everything that exists developed from "blind chance," wth no knowng or planning of its purpose or end. Life has never, in the history of scientific reasearch, ever come from non-life. Ever. The single-celled organism is the simplest form of life. Even under IDEAL conditions, under the direction of INTELLIGENCE (the lab scientists), we cannot create a single cell from inanimate chemicals. This is because the single minimal cell contains over 60000 proteins of 100 different configurations. The odds of this assemblage occuring by chance is 1 in 10 to the 4,478,296th power. Anything over 10 to the 150th power is considered impossible. It is more complex than your car engine. And that's the SIMPLEST form of life on the planet. Evolutionism is not only unscientific; it is unreasonable. A complex organism like the human brain could not have developed by "blind chance." Because evolutionism denies the creatove action of God, it is not only a false but also dangerous view for us to hold. It implies that humans are mere animals. And, as the 20th Century showed, it only a very short step from saying human beings are animals to treating them that way.

It may be a mathematical hurricane but it is possible and has been done read science journals and not just your fairy tails in your holy books you sound like an intelligent well spoken person but to think you believe something physical is impossible but believe that a invisible god created life with the only evidence being a proven fictional book called the holy bible

It's complex it starts with environmental change causing adaptation of micro bacteria over millions of years that caused the bacteria to eventually evolve to where we are now but we are not done we are still evolving who knows how we will look in the next million years

When the earth was formed after the Big Bang, supposedly asteroids that fell to earth had in them amino acids, which are the building blocks of life. Over an unfathomable amount of time, billions and millions of years, these formed into bacteria to animals, to primates to homo sapiens, our species today. Species changed due to genetic mutations. For example, say a giraffe was born with a freak gene -- he had a really long neck compared to all the other giraffes. That giraffe lived longer that the other giraffes because he could reach higher leaves and eat more, thus not only living longer and being stronger, but living long enough to make lots of baby giraffes with those same freak genes that made them stronger. Over millions of years with this stuff happening, humans eventually came about.

I do believe God created us (or whatever you want to call the higher power). Some people take the Bible too literally and claim that humans were literally sculpted out of clay. I believe God works in more intricate ways than that -- who is to say that evolution (as I just described above) is not how God created us? I think the evolution story of creation is much more faith-inducing and awe-inspiring that the literal one.

and also how would monkeys and humans evolve from monkeys if god made everything
Report as
You mean if we evolved from monkeys, why are there still monkeys too?

Think about all the different monkey species They are all very different, but yet they are all still monkeys, right? For awhile we were just another weird monkey species that happened to drastically change over millions of years. The other species of monkeys just didn't change as much. We eventually became what we are today -- our DNA took a separate path and stayed on the road of the freak genes.

your completly wrong, i wont say anything cause im goin to heaven
Report as
lol, Are you even interested in an actual opinion or are you just religi-trolling? Asking an open-ended religious question then holding your hands over your ears at the responses you get won't score heaven points.
I'm a very devout Christian too, sir, and I like to think that God --the omnipotent, all-powerful all-knowing Infinite Creator of Everything we can and cannot imagine -- works in mysterious and fantastic ways that I can't fathom. The literal clay formation just doesn't do it for me.
I'm going to pull an atheistic troll stunt and pose this question: "what about science lol".
All empirical evidence points to humans evolving from monkeys. Perhaps the first actual humans were the ones into which God infused a soul, and that distinguished them from the cavemen. Who knows? I like to think that I am an intelligent, open-minded Christian who likes to speculate.

true but what was all that up there, i dont belive in evolution cause its all fake
Report as
Really that funny bemused this is obviously a child please don't argue the fact that anyone would say evolution is fake is obsured I understand christianity not wanting to accept that humans evolved but for evolution as a whole is fake is just plain ignorant please don't worry to much FYI I do believe in god and evolution

We are each formed by the Potter's hands by using life experiences to shape us into who we are.

The next best answer is the first one. Only God knows. My answer is based off of Genesis 2.
Report as
oh sry i thought you were talking bout harry potter
Report as
Lol. Sorry :) No, I was interpreting Genesis 2 through the prophecies of Jeremiah's references to the Master Potter.
Report as
But a potter uses different mud for different vessels; does the master potter too??
Report as
I would assume so.
Report as
That makes god a discriminating one, does it not??
Report as
Yes it does
Report as
Then that's not a god. A god can't be a discriminator. He ought to be above that.

How can something that doesn't exist in your mind have objective criteria that it should meet? If your standards are for something that doesn't exist, I'll refrain from accepting them for the God that does exist who does show favor on all men, with some more than others, and not complain that I don't get as much favor as my younger brother.
