Put your tongue on the roof of your mouth and put your thumb on the spot between your eyebrows, apply a small amount of pressure for 15-20 seconds. Do this simutaneously-tongue on roof of mouth-finger between brows. Within 2-3 min your sinus will drain.
For the sore throat and stuffy nose, use hot water with lemon and honey to stay hydrated away from congestion settling in your nasal passages and in the back of your throat. The following procedure is ideal: drink a teaspoon of both honey and lemon juice mixed with a cup of water, add more lemon and honey to taste better. Sip the warm solution to ensure that you inhale the steam to assist in decongesting the nasal. The lemon cuts the mucus and the honey soothes the throat.
You probably won't believe this, but you might find temporary aid from tilting your head back and jumping on a mini-trampoline or even a bed. This will clear your sinus, and activate your lymphatic system which is very effective in cleansing your body. You may also consider ideas like oxygen therapy, deep breathing and things of that nature.
Many believe that drugs are the solution, but the lack of drugs isn't the problem, drugs only mask the problem and create other problems (see negative side effects) while costing you a fortune.
Anaerobic micro-organisms are often the cause of many of human illnesses. This is why oxygen therapy will help you radically. Get a spray bottle and fill it with 1.5 to 3% food grade hydrogen peroxide and mist the air in front of your face followed by deep breathing. The hydrogen peroxide will fill your nasal passage, throat, and lungs with more oxygen than you could possibly breathe and in a way that is extremely good for you.
Lay flat on the floor and put one hand on your chest and one on your abdomen. Breathing only through your nose imagine that you are very slowly filling a long balloon that extends from behind your eyes down past your stomach. Then on a very slow exhale, reverse the image and slowly empty the balloon. If this makes you cough, or feel dizzy, sit up, cough, and take a few normal breaths. Then lay back down and continue for a total of about 5 minutes.
Do this three times a day. If one nostril is stuffed, just proceed more slowly and work around it - don't breathe through your mouth because mouth-breathing will not help. In fact mouth-breathing often causes us to catch more colds. If you do this three times a day for a couple of days you will notice a quick resolution of your cold.
Do this the next time people around you are hacking in your direction, or when you feel a tickle in your throat and you will probably not get the cold that is going around.
Take medicine but not one after another space it out, then try to rest, for your sore throat I suggest gargling salt water, it doesn't taste good but it works. For the stuffy nose I suggest blowing your nose a lot to get the mucus out. Good luck and feel better.
