You have to learn to sing with your mouth all open. It might sound obvious, but a recent survey revealed that most people don't open their mouths when they sing, and about 65% ? 85% don't relax their tongue. Believe in what you are singing and it will be so much easier. See singinghow.com/how-to-get-better-at-singing/ for more tips.
Practice practice practice! It's always best to record yourself singing and then play it back to hear and critique your voice. Try to work on breathing techniques and singing scales of different pitches. It can take years for a person's voice to mature and achieve its greatest potential. Also remember to do therapeutic things for your vocal chords like drinking honey tea or doing warm-ups...it's always good to have healthy, relaxed vocal chords.
Try to practice everyday. Dont strain yourself to go the extra mile. Stay within your limits. Before you practice be sure to warm up and try to only drink water while you warm up. Also try not to eat any sorts of candy or sweets because that(be prepared 'cause it might sound kinda gross)will cause thick mucus in the back of your thought while you sing. Just pace yourself. Go slow. That's what my choir/music teacher told me. I followed his directions and i'm one of the best singers in my school.(Not to brag.)
First of all, you should eat a lot of apples (they're good for your vocal chords) and drink a LOT of water.
Make sure you are using the correct breathing technique when you sing - When you breath in, make sure your stomach gets all big, and when you breath out your stomach gets flat. Make sure your shoulders aren't going up and down when you sing because then you are getting the air from your chest, not your stomach.
Lastly, when you sing, make sure your mouth is wide open up & down, like you are trying to put a cookie on its side into it. If your mouth is wide open like this: (_) it's wrong. If its open like this: 0 you are singing correctly.
Sing more. Practice breathing, keep your mouth open, and stretch your voice as far as it will go. The more you sing, the better you will get. Try looking at vocal excersizes that will help your diction, and never forget to project.
Practice and join a chorus. It also depends on what you are trying to sing. If soprano is too high you should try alto, or maybe even tenor. And Enunciate your words when you sing so that people can understand you. And one more and... (srry) open your mouth and project. You want to be loud, unless your conductor/instructor tells you to be quieter. Sorry for this being so long, but I hope it helps you!

Strain your voice as much as you can, fold your tongue and just screams your lungs out! Helps a lot! Try it! And yeah don't forget to take a piss before starting. It helps to be free when singing. Never hold it in well if you hold in your pee , you get kidney stones. So if you hold back your voice, you get throat stones. Yes, this has been scientifically proven. People never take it seriously :( Just look at Micheal Jackson and Whitney Houston, they show many symptoms from throat stones. May their poor throats rest in peace. That was just a joke. Practice is the key to perfection. Remember that always. Terima Kasih :)
dont sing unless you were born with a voice so my mom said and dont sing like these people now days they cant sing miley cirus, taylor swift, rianna, justin bieber, and many more CAN NOT SING they sound like rats screeching for food
