4-6 small meals a day helps boost your metabolism and stablize your blood sugar. Both help control hunger. Eat your protein first(meat) then veggies & fruit. Eat fruit versus drinking juice. Always eat breakfast. Cut out empty calorie snacks like chips. Go for popcorn, veggies and low fat dressing or hummus. Kick up your activity....do things you like to do. Good old fashion walking at a good speed will do wonders. Swim, ride a bike. Tune into an exercise program. Make sure you reward yourself...if you want cake/ice-cream, etc.....Try the 3 bite rule. Limit the splurge to 3 bites--eat each slowly and really savor it. Have fun reaching your goal & don't forget to like yourself regardless of the number on the scale.
