I think the best way to introduce them is by finding a room for your cat since it's the visitor and your boyfriend's cat should not feel like its territory is being invaded. Organize supervised play time starting with short visits and extend them gradually. I carried tokens for my cats during visits and gave it to them when they behaved. It helps when you reward them and they look forward to visits. You can go to http://www.messybeast.com/first-impressions.htm and http://www.weforanimals.com/articles/introducing-cats.htm for more information. Be patient with them. Good luck and I hope that helps.
Are they both fixed? If they are it should be ok...if not it will pribably be a little harder. I found that if you just let them do it on there own its better. Dont make them interact. An you will probably have a couple fights. Its his house and will stand his ground, but they will figure out who is boss. also if they are not fixed you will have a problem with spraying...they mark there territory..you may want to get them fixed asap
real fast & in a small room! & please video & post somewhere ;) no seriously don't do that .. I don't kno but 2 males sounds like trouble & it's going to be about territory. have either of them been neutered?
It helps if they are both neutered. Is one older than the other? I've had adult cats together at times (my kids used to bring home strays) and I found that they will fight at first but will eventually get along well.
