Why do people ask questions on here when half the responses they get are copy and pasted?

look it up yourself!!

I never ask questions on here, it's pointless. By far most of the answers are coming from high school kids who just look up stuff on Wikipedia and paste it in. The problem is that they don't know enough about the subject matter to look up the right stuff and more often than not don't even come close to answering the question; they just babble on about unrelated stuff. (And don't ge me started on people who just make up outrageous garbage, I can't tell if they're trying to mess people up or if they're just stupid.) I do try to answer questions on those topics that I know something about, so people can get at least one correct answer.

That response usually does not even answer the question anyway. My favorite response is the IDK..if that's the most helpful response you have why bother?
