This is a document that is used by the sheriff or authority in charge to evict a tenant. Usually, when a tenant is staying on an expired eviction order the landlord places the eviction order for possession with the Eviction Office for civil processing. He pays a fee for an eviction disclosure form to be filed. The sheriff then mails a “receipt” to the landlord that will contain a district number (geographical status) and receipt number. To find out if you are next, you should contact the sheriff or check out your sheriff’s website for a list.
