What do cramps on the right side under your ribs mean?

Im a 17 year old male and i play soccer and baseball. Recently any little workout/game gives me cramps right underneath my right rib and they are very painful. I always stay hydrated so i don think that's the issue. Can someone give me some suggestions?

Possibly a few things, from something as simple as a fractured rib, appendicitis, liver enlargement or the pain can be pre indicative of a kidney infection. Certainly see your doctor if symptoms persist or worsen.
