Dogs will do most anything for a small treat. Put a handful of small dry chow in your pocket. start simple, like just the dogs name. Each time the dog responds to it's name being called give it a treat. Repetition is critical. It will get the idea soon. The next day add another easy command always practicing old commands, and grow from there. Don't yell at your dog, that's only barking to a dogs ears. Some other instrument to make a sharp noise even a good clap can get a dog's attention if it does something wrong while not training. Half hour of work each day for a month and you'll have a wonder dog.
