I have a broken fibula, why my knee hurts with a cast that goes up the knee? Is it normal or should i go back to the hospital to check it?

It could be that the bones in your knee are held up on one side of your leg. I don't think that is normal hence you should go back to the hospital for a checkup.

If ur leg is stuck in one position it can be painful. Definitely ask ur doctor

Is there a possibility that I can get a shorter cast after two weeks of having a long cast?

I don't think two weeks is sufficient healing time, but that may be possible after a few weeks. Ask your doctor :) hope it gets better! I had a friend who broke both femurs and had to sit for two weeks with a bar between her legs. I know it is very painful.

It could be becuase your leg is stuck in one position but I would consult the Dr. just be on the safe side.
