For me listening to my favorite song is always a good thing to do.Really it depends on what you feel like doing (like what is your favorite thing to do).Watch a movie (a comedy) or a horror movie.Talk/text/chat/email/call somebody that you really like or care about a lot.Play fun games on the computer (go to armorgames.com and then in the search engine type in hobo games). There is like five hobo games that go together (one is called hobo prison brawl and I think the other one was hobo space attack). The thing you really should do is go to YouTube.com and type in Shane Dawson A.K.A. ShaneDawsonTV he is really funny.
Tynaa. When you are sad, there are two things you need to do. The first is to give yourself some time to feel your sadness. Sit down quietly for an hour or so and just feel your pain and shed your tears. Emotional tears have a special chemical that makes you feel better. Blow your nose. Now, take some time to count your blessings, one by one, even the ones we take for granted (like you can see, taste, walk, hear, speak, you have 2 arms and legs, etc.) Hopefully, that will take a while. What is your favorite food? Eat it. What is your favorite activity? Do it. Get your haircut. Buy a new outfit. Lose yourself in a good book. Go outside and lift your face to the sun. Play with small children. Pet a dog or cat. Talk to your grandmother. Take some photos or videos. Laughter is the best medicine. Watch one of your favorite comedies again or try a new one. Human beings are amazingly resilient. I would suggest you read authors like Dale Carnegie, David Schwartz, Norman Vincent Peale, and Louise Hay. Training yourself to think positively through every situation will be your foundation for peace of mind in this troubling world. Best wishes.
I've had a lot of sadness in my life. The one thing that ALWAYS makes me feel better is distracting my mind.
I cross stitch and it's great to keep my mind busy so I can't think about the reason I'm sad. Try taking up a hobby or craft of some kind that you can just immerse yourself into when you are sad.
While music is something a lot of people use, I've never been able to get rid of my sadness while listening to the music. I even made a playlist of all up-beat, happy songs and it just made me worse because I couldn't get happy.
Get to nature, and observe the birds,squirrels,etc...they live the most care-free life ever, and it just brings a feeling of peace watching them...if the squirrel knows how to gather nuts and prepare for tough times, then certainly so should we.
Go out with your girlfriends and see a funny movie and get a bite to eat. Definitely be active, excercise is good also. Have a sleepover with your close girlfriends and stay up late shooting the breeze. Hope you find your happiness.
Do something you enjoy, and get active! Talk to someone you trust, and find out why you are upset. If you did something you regret, try to redeem yourself. If someone put you down, talk to them, or pretend to.
whenever u r sad remember this...haha..once a lunatic with a gun was ready to fire a couple, before he shoot he ask the lady what her name was n the lady said Elizabeth, the lunatic then said my cousin is also elizabeth so m not gonna kill u. then the gun now shifted to the guy....the lunatic ask what his name was...then the guy replied sir my name is Anil Kumar but people call me Elizabeth....hahahah...both of them walk free...:-)
Do things that you usually enjoy. Spend time with friends, they surely have a way to make you smile. Lastly, find some time to sleep. Sleep relaxes your mind, and you forget your sadness at least for a certain amount of time.
