There are pills that are used to help stop bleeding during a period. These pills can be used to control the flow if it is too heavy or if it has been going on for too long. You would need to see a gynecologist so as to get a medical opinion on this. You can get more tips at http://www.ehow.com/way_5304221_natural-cures-stop-menstrual-bleeding.html.

Taking continuous birth control pills, depo provera or a Mirena IUD may decrease flow or possibly stop it completely.

The point of pads & tampons isn't 2 stop the bleeding it's 2 catch the blood. you can't stop the bleeding unless you take birth control or something but it's really not good for u . u need ur period to clean ur body out and help ur body function correctly. periods are just a part of life that every girl has 2 deal with.
