Do Mockingbirds have their own song or do they only copy other birds' songs?

I was in my backyard and I heard 2 birds in the trees chirping to each other and then a mockingbird was on my fence chirping with them

Mockingbirds' don't have their own song, all they do is copy other birds' songs. Mockingbirds are a group of passerine birds from the Mimidae family, and they are best known for the habit of some species mimicking the songs of other birds, and the sounds of insects or amphibians.
