I had 2010 camaro ss until some idiot pulled out in front of me and totaled my car this was my 4th camaro had one mustang gt 1985 and was a piece of junk the camaro was bad ass nothing beats the camaro the ride handling and the power was unbelievable I had air intake done exshaust a chip and was pushing 475 hp it's 427 stock I loved that car but I'm lucky to be alive that car saved my life because of the long hood and steel beams in the front that I got to see after the accident walked away with a couple broken ribs ankle and toe bones were all broken I will get another one way the idiot insurance company's pays up in a law suite
I would say a Mustang. Both the Chevy Camaro and Dodge Challenger are good cars but the Mustang is the only car Ford hasn't gone wrong with. Its fast, has a sleek body, it's very classy and has a great engine. It's one very cool car.
challenger because its front end is boxy which makes it look sick but personal i would choose a plymouth barracuda or road runner over any of those cars but im Chevys parts easier to get so ive heard from a mechanic but for modern muscle car mustang cause they look mint haha
Challengers are more rare, which equals more money Mustang is an icon and the aftermarket is endless, however Ford products can be pricey. Camaro is equal to the Mustang, but you can build more horsepower for the money. Just research the year you find, they all had good and bad ones...either is a good choice.
The Mustang has had a long standing position in this category as a reliable muscle car. The Challenger is a new twist on an old favorite, but still a good ride. The Camaro, is both and more. The Chevy Camaro has style class and reputation as a quality muscle car. The new one also add the advantage of great horsepower with great mileage. The six cylinder in the new camaro puts more horsepower to the road than most of the classic v8's did stock and still gets over 30mpg on the highway. My vote would be on the Camaro.
The ? I have is , do you want old muscle or new muscle? Do you want to build or buy already built? If you are looking for old all 3 are great cars. I would go for either 1970 Challenger RT, 1965-- 1969 Mustang or 1967-- 1969 Camaro. New I would have to say the Dodge Challenger.
i work at a ford dealer as a mechanic and i would choose a mustang or the dodge , sat in a Camaro at the chicago car show and it sucked., my son has a new stang with the 3.7 v-6 6 speed and 3.31 gears and its really fast!! for a v-6, but the dodge is a sweet car, and i know that the mustang and the dodge are far more dependable then the chev
Much as I love the old American muscle cars, by the time you've restored one and tricked it out with all the good stuff, you'll have the price of a BMW, Jag, or Mercedes --- any one of which will put you down the road and through the corners faster than the American iron.
the question comes down to wich one of the three stirs your soul. i currently have a mustang and love my car ive owned three. but my suggestion to you is to go drive all three the one you fall in love with buy.
that totally depends on your choice. but, remember, muscle cars are STRAIT LINE PERFORMANCE!!! if you want a muscle car feel with great handling, get the Camaro zl1. this was reviewed in motor trend, and it kicked the mustang boss 350's but like no one's business. go with what you want
