What is an abnormal amount of fluid loss for menstrual cycle?
I have just had my second cycle after almost 2 years (I was pregnant and have just started having my cycle again after breastfeeding for 11 months). I just started my period yesterday, but just today I have bled through 3 super plus tampons, not counting the ones I didn't bleed through. I'm wondering if I'm losing too much fluid. My periods have always been heavy and I know that my hormones will still be out of wack, but is this normal? I guess I'm worried because I know that the super plus tampons hold 12-15 grams of fluid, if I've gone through 3 or more in just one day how much is too much?
