What is 25% OF 200?

there are 200 chickens on a farm. if 25% of them died, how many chickens are left alive?

50 but if you are asking how many are alive than 150 (.25x200)

50 because 200 divided by 50 is 1 over 4 so its 25%

50 chickens have died because 25% of 100 is equal to 1 over 4. Divide 200 by 4 and that is 50. 50+50+50+50 equals 200. Let me perenthesize 1 4th of that equation... (50) + 50 + 50 +50 The thing in perentheses is 1 of the 4 50s. There are 150 chickens left in the farm. Get it now? What grade are you in. If its 6th grade or under I can help with any problem you ask.
