For children betewwn 103-104 can be normal high in children. HOWEVER, it is an indication of a possible infection in the body and REALLY REALLY needs to be checked by a Dr. to ruse out any possible problems the child may be having. Also, high temos are not good for the brain. I say GET THE CHILD TO A DR OR ER IMMEDIATELY
104.5 is starting to get dangerous. Be sure you give enough medicine. I find most parents give too little meds. Read the label to make sure. If fever persists take her to the doctor. do NOT do "warm water and alcohol". but you can try room temp water and NO alcohol.
105 is too high. However, as long as the fever responds to meds & a lukewarm spongebath, she's probably fine. My son had a 105.7 fever once, that dropped to 103 30 min after Tylenol & a spongebath. When in doubt, ALWAYS call the doctor. There's always an after hours number you can call when the clinic is closed.
Also, NEVER use rubbing alcohol!!! It can cause severe side effects, including seizures.

Any fever over 103F is considered urgent and your child should been seen by a doctor immediately. At this temperature a child can have a seizure and that is a serious, life threatening emergency. Please do not wait until her fever climbs higher. 104 and 105 temps are extremely dangerous and life-threatening.
