How old do you have to be to get a tattoo if you have an adult with you and have permission from the adult.

It would be different from state to state and possibly even different from county to county with in a state. The best way to find out would be to call a local tattoo shop and ask.

15-16 my step dad does tattoos and he only did 1 tattoo on someone who is 15 that was my bro he did over 300 tattoos all together

18 yrs old, i think. the tatoo should not be so riduculous or ugly. tatoo is an art, it should suit with your style and your body.

The legal age to have a tattoo in most states is 18 years and above. Usually it gas to be a parent or guardian who gives permission, not just any adult.
