Is Rowan a good name for a baby girl? What would be a good middle name to go with that?

I think it is a good name for a baby girl. Rowan is actually a beautiful tree shrub with colorful flowers and fruits. I would suggest you combine it with "Nani", a Polynesian name meaning beautiful as well. Check details on http://www.controverscial.com/Rowan.htm.

A girlish middle name. Emma? Something that can't be made into a boy name easily. I personally don't think Rowan is a good girl name. Just my opinion though.

Rowan is the name of the guy who plays "Mr. Bean". I always thought it was a boys name

I think it's a pretty name, and I would go with "Rowan Emily" or "Rowan Leigh".

Thanks for that answer, Rowan Leigh is what I've been thinking of for quite awhile, except im spelling it Lee instead.

Well, a good friend of mine spells hers "Leigh" so it was force of habit to put mine that way. :)
