how do you find the area of a rectangle

Report as

The area of a rectangle is length times width. This works for a square as well, since it is categorized as a parallelogram.

The way to find out the area of a rectangle is to multiply the base times the height. So the way it works is if the base is 5 and the height of the rectangle is 3 you multiply 5 times 3 and get an area of 15.
