The best way to tell whether your baby is healthy during pregnancy is by attending regular prenatal clinics. The physician will carry out a close scrutiny of your health together with that of the baby. Check information on http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/prenatal-care/PR00008.

...and remember: what you put into your body is also put into your baby's body, including cigarettes and all medicine taken.

Go with your gut and be honest with yourself. Do not over think (or analyze) your every move, feeling, weight or diet.

Remember, above all, that having a baby is the most natural thing on earth! Women have trusted their instinct and common sense from birth of mankind.

I could tell you a LONG story and several more behind to support my beliefs. I've birthed six and raised nine but only one stories are 'mine'.

The most beautiful - awe inspiring experience you have ever, or will ever know in your lifetime is happening right now - enjoy the journey - love and live in the moment. Giving birth is like life, there are no guarantees.

The only thing you can (and must) rely on is the, "Mommy Meter". You will know it if and when you hear it, and it doesn't feel like fear. It is strong and clear, calm, confident, unapologetic and virtually indomitable.

If you haven't got that, "Get out of my way!" resolve; if your inner voice is not saying "I don't care where you went to school, your GPA or the title on your Degree - know my instincts.' in a firm and loving way, then just sit back and flow through the fluctuation of emotion and KNOW, you and your precious baby are normal.

My gut tells me you (and the baby) are perfect and normal.

Wishing you the best - knowing you will be fine!!
