Why are my hydrangeas drooping

ive had my three hydrangeas for like three years now and never had a problem and i wanted them to be blue so i gave them an acid fertalizer and they didnt turn blue so i gave just two of the three more and know just those two are wilting like they dont have enough water and they have had plenty what do i do we have a lot of clay in our soil PLEASE HELP

If they are in the bright sun all day will cause this Did you use too much fertilizer? Hydrangea cant get too much water. also iron will effect My soil has a lot of iron & mine are purple

i gave it like to table spoons of the acid feralizer rather then 1 but they still havent turned blue they are light pink

It will take time for the colors to change if any new flowers come they may be blue You might try putting some iron nails in the soil ( a trick my grand dad showed me). It works

Possibly I would let the water hose run around them for several hours

stop feeding it water!! use miraclegro. also is the spot sunny or in the shade?

its on the north side of the house it gets afternoon sun. they have never ha this happen before i hope i didnt give it to much acid

I have heavy clay soil too. My hydrangeas take a lot of extra water this time. They wilt very quickly without the extra water.
