Your going to hear mixed reviews. Some people will worship it, some will say it caused their tranny go slip and go crazy. Some logic behind this is not all transmissions are designed to use the same qualities in a fluid, some use the fluid to reduce friction while others use fluid to increase friction. General things like this just mask problems, kinda like using 90w gear oil in your motor to solve a oil leak.
Lucas is a great brand. I use their oil additive. I learned something interesting when my son changed my oil while I was visiting in FL. He handed me a half full bottle when he was through because that is all it took. The three times I had my oil changed at home, the mechanics never returned it. At $14 a bottle, I'm won't let that happen again. If mechanics swipe it, it must be good. If your transmission is the kind that requires it, you are using a good product.
