Why is my hair falling off?!

I'm 15 and my mom says that the hair on the top of my head is falling off and there is less hair on the top of my head than the sides and back. Please help! I'm freaking out!

RuthEEE's correct, but on the plus side once these issues, such as illness, stress, are addressed your hair will grow back!

sorry to hear ,but most of the time its from the families genes,it doesn't have to be from the parents ; it could be an uncle ,or great grandparent.

My grandparents loose hair but they're around 60. And also I pretty hairy for a 15 year old. Thats because of my moms side.

Oh okay... Maybe it runs in the family. On my moms side of the family we get gray hairs early. I got my first gray hair when I was 9! Maybe it's just a family thing.
