How far back does child support go in New York state if paternity has not been established yet?

He may be my son and he is 4.

If paternity has not been established yet, the child support goes up to 21years. This support should start the day your child was born even if you have never lived with the child. Visit https://newyorkchildsupport.com/dcse/non_custodial_parent_info.html.
