Felons who have served their sentences & cleared can vote depending on their circumstances and standing. Some states vary here. A felon can be called for jury duty but will most likely be dismissed. Strangely, if a felon has "walked the walk and talked the talk" proven to be helpful and proven to turn his/her life around-they would be a good source to contribute and this has been looked at lately.

Dustee, Shawshank Redemption was quite the Stephen King classic. Tim Robbins and Morgan Freeman...yumm. Had had a shot at an Oscar but Forrest Gump got it.

Great answer. But sad for me. My oldest daughter has felonies and she was so promising and my best fishing buddy up until puberty and drug use and bipolar and all. Too personal for ask.com. But yet still that was a great answer. Got you another green. Shoot beautiful night mare...you are so good you could probably get me to tell you this story, probably help tons of people that get their hearts broken so bad they don't think they can go on. Glad you chose to follow me and allowed me to follow you.

I would rather think people change it around. I know a few that have done that..I am truly sorry you had a bad experience. I have a couple in my family as well. It takes time and the "want" to change. Hope it is better now..take care.

Nope, you can't.

Juries are called up from voter registrations. If you have a felony on your record, then you cannot vote. Also, felons are not allowed to serve on a jury anyway :)

You cannot be summoned for jury duty if you have a felony. Felons are not allowed to vote, so they never get called for jury duty.
